Your Super 8 Wedding Film

This film will transport you back to your day like no modern wedding video can. It finds the essence of the moment and captures it with a mesmerising, ethereal quality.

The story of your day will be told in 7 - 10 minutes depending on your package. As each video will contain so many different elements from a wedding day I can't say exactly what your video will look like so I recommend checking out some films from my portfolio. However, as part of my booking process, you’ll have the opportunity to let me know what is important to you.

The music is carefully chosen to match you and your day. If you'd like to be involved in this process, I'd be happy to consider that. The music I choose comes from a specialist music licensing website so your video can be shared online without copyright issues.

Your Super 8 Reels

I use negative film stock, so although the reels can’t be played back through a film projector, you can still appreciate the image on each physical frame of film by holding it up to the light.

Our film processing partners scan each film at 3K resolution so you can appreciate each frame as if it were through a projector.

Your Physical Keepsake

Your digital films and your original cine film reels will be delivered in a personalised wooden box like the one in the image above. The cover image will be a frame from your film, chosen by you from a selection.

Completed packages are normally ready within 12-16 weeks of your wedding. This is subject to the time of year and any backlog at the processing/scanning company.

Extras

  • I usually use 4 reels of cine film over a wedding day. If you’d like more coverage or feel that’s not enough, I can add an extra reel to my kit bag. You’ll only be charged if I use it.

  • This would be in addition to your physical USB drive. Your films can be streamed, downloaded and shared from the webpage and it’s accessible on most smart TV’s and devices.

  • Love Super 8, but would really like the speeches or ceremony captured with professional, 4K UHD video and sound equipment? This is for you.

  • Need the record of your day to be kept private? With this extra I will not publish your videos to any of my marketing channels or my website.
    This is an extra because it would be very difficult to run my business without a porfolio of recent work. However, I appreciate some people have serious privacy concerns.

  • With this extra, individual video scans of each of the cine film reels used to film your wedding will be included in your package as video clips. They will be unedited.
